The original model measures 59 inches long and 43 inches wide, providing a spacious playing area for adults. It features a mesh snare and Bluetooth connectivity for practice and recording. Some players may prefer a different size, a lower weight, or a more compact footprint for smaller rooms. Others might want a portable option that fits on a desk rather than a full rack. How these picks differ from TIDISO
AODSK Quiet Mesh Electronic Drum Set
The AODSK UAED-403P-ORN shares the full-size, acoustic-style approach of the TIDISO but weighs less at 39.1 pounds. It includes 450 sounds and low-volume cymbals, offering a complete mesh kit experience with included sticks. Unlike the TIDISO, it lacks Bluetooth connectivity, relying on USB MIDI and standard MIDI for integration. This model suits adults who prioritize sound variety and included accessories over wireless features. It provides a realistic playing feel similar to the TIDISO but in a slightly lighter package. If you need extensive sound options without Bluetooth, this is a strong alternative.
AKLOT B-CORE53 NEO Portable Mesh Drum Set
The AKLOT B-CORE53 NEO shifts from a full-size standing kit to a portable desktop solution. It measures just 18.1 inches long and weighs 13.8 pounds, making it ideal for small spaces. While it offers 360 sounds and USB-MIDI connectivity like the TIDISO, it sacrifices the independent kick tower and five-cymbal layout. The aluminum base provides stability for focused practice. This pick is best for beginners who want realistic snare feedback without the bulk of a full rack. It gives up acoustic realism for portability and a compact footprint suitable for desks or tight areas.
KONIX ED01 Tabletop Drum Set with 7 Pads
The KONIX ED01 is a lightweight tabletop unit weighing only 7.25 pounds, designed as a MIDI controller rather than a traditional drum kit. It features seven pads but lacks the standing rack, kick tower, and cymbals found on the TIDISO. Connectivity includes USB MIDI and standard MIDI. The AiJoy E-10001 offers a space-saving design with a foldable structure, weighing 37.5 pounds. It includes three cymbals and five drum pads, providing a complete package with included sticks. Unlike the TIDISO, it has only three cymbals and lacks Bluetooth connectivity, relying on USB MIDI. The dimensions are smaller, making it suitable for limited spaces. This kit suits beginners who want a complete setup without the bulk of a full-size rack. It gives up the extensive cymbal layout and wireless features for a more compact, foldable design that is easier to store.
Donner DED-70 7-Piece Mesh Electronic Drum Set
The Donner DED-70 is a compact, quiet kit with four pads and 150 sounds, weighing 21 pounds. It targets young beginners and those needing portability.
