Are Included Sticks Worth It?
Every kit on this list includes sticks, so you do not need to buy them separately. This feature matters if you want a complete setup right out of the box. The Donner DED-70 and AODSK AED-400pro both provide a full accessory pack for quiet practice. If you already own drumsticks, this inclusion adds little value. The sticks are simply part of the standard package for these electronic and acoustic-style kits.
Worth it if
- You want a complete kit without buying extra accessories
- You are a beginner who needs everything to start playing
- You prefer not to source compatible sticks separately
Skip it if
- You already own high-quality drumsticks
- You only care about pad and cymbal counts
- You plan to upgrade your accessories later

How we picked these kits
We found these 15 electronic drum sets by scanning Amazon listings for the Included Accessories: Sticks feature. We only selected models where the listing explicitly states that drumsticks are part of the package. We checked the title and feature lists to confirm this detail. We do not test products physically. All information comes from published specifications on the product pages. We included only one size or variant from each product family to keep the list focused on distinct options.
The products are ordered by availability first, then by the listing's overall rating weighted by rating count, and finally by how many guide criteria the specs meet. We focus on specs like pad count, connectivity, and weight. We do not mention prices or stock levels here. These details appear live on the page. This approach ensures you see the most relevant kits based on verified data.
How to Choose the Right One
-
Check Target Audience
Start by identifying who will play the kit. The VEVOR 5-Piece 16 in Kids Drum Set is designed for children ages 6 to 13. It features a smaller layout that fits young hands. In contrast, the VEVOR 5-Piece 22-Inch Full Size Adult Drum Set targets grown players. It offers standard 22-inch toms and a full-size kick drum. Choosing the right audience ensures the hardware dimensions match the player. This prevents frustration for beginners or kids who need smaller components to reach comfortably.
-
Review Pad Count
The number of pads determines how many drum voices you can trigger. Most electronic kits in this guide offer four or five pads. The Donner DED-80 includes four pads, which is standard for basic practice. The Donner DED-200 expands this to five pads, allowing for a larger snare or extra tom. More pads mean more complex rhythms you can practice. If you plan to learn full kit patterns, a five-pad setup offers more flexibility. A four-pad kit is sufficient for simple beats and learning basic coordination.
-
Assess Sound Library
The number of sounds affects your practice variety. The Donner DED-200 provides 450 sounds, giving you many drum kit variations to explore. The AODSK AED-400pro offers 241 sounds, which is still plenty for learning. The RVONE RED-200 includes 150 voices. Fewer sounds limit your options but keep the module simple. If you want to experiment with different genres, look for higher sound counts. A larger library helps you find tones that match your musical interests without needing external software.
-
Examine Connectivity
Connectivity options determine how you record or expand your setup. Many kits support USB MIDI and standard MIDI outputs. The Donner DED-70 and AODSK AED-403 both offer USB MIDI, MIDI, and USB connections. This allows you to connect to a computer for recording or use a MIDI controller. If you plan to use drum software, ensure the kit has USB MIDI. Standard MIDI ports let you connect to external sound modules. These features are essential for players who want to integrate their kit into a digital studio.
-
Look at Cymbal Features
Cymbal features impact your playing technique. The Donner DED-200 includes choke cymbals, which let you stop the sound by grabbing the cymbal. This mimics acoustic cymbal behavior. The AODSK AED-400pro and RVONE RED-200 use low-volume cymbals for quiet practice. Choke capability adds expressiveness to your playing. If you want to practice dynamic control and traditional techniques, look for choke features. Low-volume cymbals are better for noise reduction. Choose based on whether you value realistic response or quiet operation.
