How to choose the right one
-
Check the piece count
You should verify the total number of cymbals included in the package. The Arborea Low Volume Cymbal Pack contains five pieces. This configuration includes sizes ranging from 14 inches to 20 inches. A higher piece count provides more variety for your drumming practice sessions. You get multiple crash and ride options in one box. This saves space compared to buying individual cymbals. The Hero Series offers eight pieces for a more complete kit. More pieces mean more sonic options for your setup.
-
Verify cymbal configuration
Look at the specific sizes and types included in the set. The Low Volume Pack features a 20-inch ride and a 16-inch crash. This setup is ideal for drummers who need a standard ride size. The Hero Series includes a 20-inch ride and 14-inch hi-hats. Hi-hats are essential for complete rhythm practice. You need to ensure the set matches your preferred playing style. A 20-inch ride offers a full, expressive sound. Check the list to see if the crash size suits your taste.
-
Consider volume levels
Decide if you need quiet practice or standard volume sounds. The Low Volume Cymbal Pack is designed for apartments and quiet environments. It reduces ear fatigue during long practice sessions. This is crucial if you live in a shared space. The Hero Series produces a bright, stainless steel sound. It is louder and more resonant than the low volume option. You should choose low volume for late-night practice. Standard volume is better for home studios with soundproofing.
-
Review included accessories
Check if the package comes with a carrying bag or stand. The Hero Series includes a carrying bag for transport and storage. This makes it easier to move your cymbal set. You do not need to buy separate storage solutions. The Low Volume Pack does not mention a bag in the data. You may need to purchase one separately. Accessories add value and convenience to your purchase. Always check the product description for included hardware.
-
Assess material and finish
Look at the material and color finish of the cymbals. The Hero Series is made of stainless steel. This material offers durability and a bright sound profile. The finish is described as Hero-Golden. The Low Volume Pack has a bright silver color. The material affects the tone and longevity of the cymbals. Stainless steel is known for being robust. Silver finishes are common for practice sets. Choose based on your preference for sound and appearance.
