How to choose the right one
-
Check target audience needs
You should first decide who will use the kit most often. The ALLSET Groove Full Size Mesh Electronic Drum Kit lists both adults and kids as its target audience. This makes it a flexible choice for family homes where multiple players share the gear. If you are buying for a single adult, the ALLSET 700 Black Electronic Drum Kit is also suitable. Consider the physical size and reach of the primary player. A kit designed for younger users might have a smaller frame, which affects comfort and posture during long practice sessions.
-
Compare form factor size
You need to measure your available floor space before purchasing. The ALLSET Groove Full Size Mesh Electronic Drum Kit measures 30 inches in length, making it a compact option for smaller rooms. In contrast, the ALLSET 700 Black Electronic Drum Kit is 35.3 inches long. This extra length allows for a more traditional layout with full-size cymbals. If you have limited room, the 30-inch model is easier to fit. If you want a realistic stage setup, the longer 35.3-inch frame provides better spacing between pads and cymbals for natural playing.
-
Look for included accessories
You should verify what comes in the box to avoid extra purchases. The ALLSET 700 Black Electronic Drum Kit explicitly lists sticks as included accessories. This means you can start playing immediately without buying drumsticks separately. Other models may not include sticks or other essentials. Checking the accessories list helps you understand the true value of the package. If a kit does not list sticks, you will need to purchase them separately. This simple detail can affect your overall setup cost and convenience right from day one.
-
Evaluate cymbal volume type
You must consider how quiet the cymbals are if you practice in shared spaces. The ALLSET Groove Full Size Mesh Electronic Drum Kit specifies low volume and practice cymbals. These are designed to reduce noise impact on neighbors or family members. The ALLSET 700 Black Electronic Drum Kit does not list specific cymbal volume types in its provided data. If noise is a major concern, look for explicit low-volume cymbal specifications. This feature is critical for apartment living or late-night practice sessions where sound control is essential.
-
Review physical dimensions
You should check all three dimensions to ensure the kit fits your stand or rack. The ALLSET 700 Black Electronic Drum Kit measures 15 inches wide, 13.5 inches high, and 35.3 inches long. The ALLSET Groove Full Size Mesh Electronic Drum Kit is 18 inches wide, 10 inches high, and 30 inches long. The width difference affects how many pads fit side by side. The height difference impacts the vertical space required for your room. Measure your practice area carefully to avoid buying a kit that is too large or awkwardly shaped for your space.
