Beatello Jungle Pad 14-inch Steel Alternatives: 6 Similar Picks Compared

How these alternatives differ

Beatello Jungle Pad 5-Piece Compact Drum Set

This Beatello model shares the same 56.4-pound weight and black steel construction as the original. It maintains the portable, stackable form factor designed for adults. The primary difference lies in the specific model designation, identified as the Jungle Pad Drum set. You get the same compact storage benefits and tool-free assembly for travel. However, it offers no distinct advantage in shell depth or hardware quality over the original 14-inch version. If you already prefer the Beatello brand for its nesting design, this is a direct equivalent. It suits players who need a full-size portable kit without extra features. Choose this if the original is unavailable, as the core specs remain identical.

Ashthorpe 5-Piece Full Size Drum Set

The Ashthorpe kit shifts from portable steel to a traditional 95-pound full-size acoustic setup. It uses brass cymbals and a heavier build, making it unsuitable for trunk stacking or busking. You gain a more robust acoustic experience with Remo heads, ideal for home practice. This kit lacks the 1.5-inch ultra-thin shells, so it requires significant space and separate cases. It targets adults seeking professional-grade sound rather than travel convenience. If you do not need to carry your drums to gigs, this heavier kit offers superior resonance. It is a better choice for stationary players who prioritize tone and durability over compact storage and quick setup.

VEVOR 5-Piece 22 in Full Size Drum Set

VEVOR offers a 62.8-pound full-size set with adjustable seating, contrasting sharply with the original’s lightweight portability. This kit includes sticks and durable stands for a complete home practice station. It lacks the stackable nesting system, meaning you must manage multiple pieces separately. The 22-inch size provides a traditional acoustic feel but sacrifices the compactness that fits in any car trunk. You get a stable, heavy-duty setup for serious practice rather than a travel kit. This option suits beginners to pros who value adjustable components and do not need to transport their drums frequently. It is a practical alternative if you prioritize a complete, stationary practice environment over busking convenience.

Ktaxon 22 Inch 5-Piece Full Size Drum Set

The Ktaxon kit provides a traditional 23-by-22-inch footprint, focusing on solid hardware and included accessories. It weighs significantly more than the original and does not feature stackable shells. You receive a complete acoustic experience suitable for players who want a standard setup without portability concerns. This model lacks the ultra-thin design, making it less ideal for small spaces or travel. It fits adults seeking a reliable, full-size kit for home use. If you do not need to carry your drums to outdoor gigs, this traditional configuration offers stability. It is a suitable choice for those who prefer conventional drum dimensions over the compact, nesting design of the Beatello original.

Donner DDS-520 5-Piece 22-Inch Acoustic Drum Kit

Donner’s 99-pound kit emphasizes silent practice capabilities with thicker shell construction. It is a full-size 22-inch set with practice cymbals, targeting beginners who need volume control. This kit is much heavier and bulkier than the original, requiring dedicated space. It lacks the portable, stackable design, so it is not suitable for busking or travel. You gain a sturdy, complete setup with silent practice features, ideal for apartment living. This option suits players who prioritize noise reduction over portability. If you need a quiet acoustic experience and have space for a large kit, this model offers practical silent practice. It is not for those who need to transport their drums frequently.

Ashthorpe 5-Piece Full Size Adult Drum Set with Remo Heads

This Ashthorpe model uses genuine Remo heads and poplar shells for a rich acoustic sound. Weighing 91 pounds, it is a full-size kit designed for adults seeking high-quality practice gear. It lacks the ultra-thin steel shells and stackable design of the original, making it less portable. You get a traditional setup with durable components for home performance. This kit is ideal for stationary players who value acoustic authenticity over compact storage. It does not fit in a car trunk easily or stack for transport. If you prefer poplar shells and Remo heads for a specific tonal quality, this is a strong alternative. It suits those who do not need the travel convenience of the original 14-inch kit.
