Looking Beyond the Beatello Adult 5‑Piece Acoustic Drum? 6 Alternatives Worth a Look

Key differences in size and features

ALLSET Groove 8" Mesh Electric Drum Kit

The ALLSET Groove Electric Drum Kit shifts from acoustic hardware to a full-size electronic frame. It measures 27 inches wide and 50 inches long, offering a different footprint than the Beatello’s 56.4-pound compact build. This kit targets users who need DAW integration and recording capabilities rather than acoustic resonance. You get a realistic mesh pad feel in a quiet environment. It sacrifices the traditional drum kit layout for a more modular electronic setup. If you prioritize software connectivity and a stable, wide frame over acoustic playability, this option fits your workflow better than the hybrid acoustic design.

Umelody UED-60 Compact Kids Electronic Drum Set

The Umelody UED-60 Compact Kids Electronic Drum Set is significantly smaller than the Beatello. Weighing only 13.2 pounds, it fits easily into small spaces where the heavier acoustic kit might struggle. This mini kit includes sticks and offers USB MIDI connectivity for digital practice. It is designed specifically for children or beginners with limited room. The compact dimensions make it highly portable compared to the Beatello’s alloy stand structure. If you need a quiet, space-saving solution for a child or a small apartment, this electronic kit provides all necessary accessories without the bulk of a full-sized acoustic frame.

AiJoy E-10001 5-Drum Mesh Kit with 3 Cymbals

The AiJoy E-10001 5-Drum Mesh Kit provides a complete electronic solution with three cymbals and a dual-zone snare. It weighs 37.5 pounds, which is lighter than the Beatello’s 56.4-pound acoustic build. This kit includes sticks and offers USB MIDI connectivity for recording. It is designed for beginners who want a quiet, all-in-one bundle for small rooms. The mesh pads offer a different tactile response compared to the acoustic heads of the Beatello. If you prefer a fully electronic setup with MIDI features over a hybrid acoustic-silent mode, this kit offers a more integrated digital practice experience.

AODSK Quiet Mesh Electronic Drum Set

The AODSK Quiet Mesh Electronic Drum Set includes 450 sounds, offering more variety than the acoustic options of the Beatello. It weighs 39.1 pounds and features USB MIDI connectivity for recording. This kit includes sticks and is designed for beginners who want a complete, quiet setup. The electronic module provides sound customization that the acoustic drums cannot match. It sacrifices the physical feel of acoustic heads for digital versatility. If you value sound variety and MIDI recording capabilities over the traditional acoustic play feel, this electronic kit provides a more feature-rich practice environment for beginners.

KEYIVOX 9pc Electric Drum Set with Mesh Pads

The KEYIVOX 9pc Electric Drum Set offers 150 sounds and USB MIDI connectivity for computer integration. It weighs 26.5 pounds and measures 19.7 inches wide, making it more compact than the Beatello’s frame. This kit includes sticks and is designed for beginners who want a complete package. The electronic pads provide a quiet practice environment with sound variety. It sacrifices the acoustic resonance of the Beatello for digital flexibility. If you prioritize sound customization and computer connectivity over the hybrid acoustic-silent design, this electronic kit offers a solid starter option with included accessories for quiet home practice.

MOSEN MED-X3S Full-Mesh Electronic Drum Kit

The MOSEN MED-X3S Full-Mesh Electronic Drum Kit features a full-mesh layout for realistic tactile feedback. It weighs 32.1 pounds and offers a different physical profile than the Beatello’s alloy stand. This kit includes a dual-zone snare and low-volume cymbals for quiet practice. It targets beginners who value digital connectivity and proper technique development. The full-mesh design provides a consistent response across all pads, unlike the mixed materials of the Beatello. If you prefer a fully electronic setup with realistic mesh feedback over a hybrid acoustic-silent mode, this kit offers a focused practice experience for learning proper drumming technique.
