How each alternative compares
Donner DED-80 Mesh Electronic Drum Set
The Donner DED-80 is a complete electronic kit, unlike the AUDIX DP7 which requires an acoustic drum set and external amplification. It includes four mesh pads and low-volume cymbals for quiet practice. You get a self-contained system with included sticks, weighing 26.5 pounds. The AUDIX package weighs 4.41 pounds but only provides microphones. Choose the Donner if you need a silent, all-in-one solution for home use rather than specialized mics for a traditional acoustic kit.
Donner DED-70 7-Piece Mesh Electronic Drum Set
The Donner DED-70 offers 150 sounds and USB MIDI connectivity, providing digital versatility that the AUDIX DP7 lacks. It features four mesh pads and low-volume cymbals, designed for young beginners. The kit weighs 21 pounds and includes sticks. In contrast, the AUDIX DP7 consists of five specific dynamic and condenser microphones for acoustic instruments. Select the Donner DED-70 if you want a quiet, electronic practice tool with built-in sounds, rather than professional microphones for live or studio acoustic recording.
Donner DED-200 Mesh Electronic Drum Set
The Donner DED-200 provides a more realistic feel with 450 sounds and choke cymbals, compared to the AUDIX DP7’s acoustic focus. It includes five pads and three cymbals, weighing 53.6 pounds. The kit supports USB MIDI and includes sticks. The AUDIX DP7 is much lighter at 4.41 pounds and contains no electronic components. Pick the Donner DED-200 if you prioritize a complete electronic experience with realistic feedback over specialized microphones for traditional drumming applications.
Donner DED-70SE Kids Electronic Drum Set
The Donner DED-70SE is tailored for kids, featuring an adjustable frame for growing players. It is a quiet practice kit, unlike the AUDIX DP7 which is for professional acoustic recording. The electronic set weighs 20 pounds and includes sticks, while the AUDIX package weighs 4.41 pounds. The Donner model lacks the specific frequency responses and polar patterns of the AUDIX mics. Choose the DED-70SE if you need an ergonomic, space-saving electronic kit for children rather than high-performance microphones for adult acoustic drummers.
VEVOR 5-Piece 16 in Kids Drum Set
The VEVOR 5-Piece Drum Set is an acoustic instrument for young beginners, not an electronic kit or microphone set. It includes five pieces and a starter cymbal, weighing 37.5 pounds. It provides a full-size acoustic experience with adjustable seating. The AUDIX DP7 contains five microphones for capturing sound from existing drums. Select the VEVOR set if you want a complete acoustic drum kit for children. It does not offer the microphone specifications or electronic features found in the other alternatives or the AUDIX package.
AODSK AED-403pro Mesh Electronic Drum Set
The AODSK AED-403pro is a mesh electronic drum set with 260 sounds, designed for beginners seeking a space-saving solution. It weighs 27 pounds and includes sticks. The AUDIX DP7 is a microphone package for acoustic kits, weighing only 4.41 pounds. The AODSK kit provides electronic sounds and connectivity, while the AUDIX set requires external amplification. Choose the AODSK model if you need a complete, quiet electronic practice system. It is not suitable for recording acoustic drums, which is the primary function of the AUDIX DP7.
