ALLSET Groove Electric Drum Kit Alternatives: 6 Similar Picks Compared

How each alternative compares

Umelody UED-60 Compact Kids Electronic Drum Set

The Umelody UED-60 targets kids and small spaces with a mini form factor. It measures 11.4 inches wide and weighs just 13.2 pounds, making it far more portable than the ALLSET Groove’s full-size frame. While the ALLSET offers 210+ sounds and USB audio for DAW recording, the Umelody focuses on simplicity with USB MIDI connectivity. You get a complete package with sticks included, but the pad size is smaller. This kit is a practical entry point for young beginners who need quiet practice in tight areas, sacrificing the full-size feel and advanced sound library of the ALLSET for affordability and ease of storage.

Portable Drum Set for Adults & Teens, Foldable All-in-One

This ALLSET Groove Foldable Practice Drum Kit prioritizes portability over permanent setup. It measures only 13 inches wide and 21.3 inches long, significantly smaller than the ALLSET Groove’s 50-inch length. The compact design suits travelers and students who value quick setup over a dedicated station. While it shares the ALLSET brand, it likely offers a more streamlined feature set compared to the full kit’s double-layer mesh pads and extensive sound library. You trade the comprehensive practice tools and DAW integration for a footprint that fits easily into small apartments or travel cases. It is ideal if space is tight and you need a kit that moves with you.

Beatello Adult 5-Piece Compact Acoustic Drum Set

The Beatello CPF20 is a 5-piece acoustic drum set with a quiet practice mode. It provides traditional acoustic response with volume control, differing from the ALLSET Groove’s electronic mesh pads. Weighing 56.4 pounds, it is heavier and less portable than the electronic alternative. The kit includes a 20-inch ride and 16-inch crash cymbal, offering a classic acoustic feel rather than digital sound customization. You get the physical feedback of real drums but lose USB audio connectivity and built-in sounds. This option fits players who want acoustic dynamics with noise reduction, sacrificing the electronic features and compact foldability of the ALLSET Groove for a more traditional playing experience.

AiJoy E-10001 5-Drum Mesh Kit with 3 Cymbals

The AiJoy E-10001 offers a 5-drum mesh kit with 3 cymbals, similar to the ALLSET Groove’s layout. It features a dual-zone snare for dynamics, which may provide more nuanced playing than the ALLSET’s standard pads. Weighing 37.5 pounds, it is lighter than the ALLSET’s full-size frame but still substantial. The AiJoy includes sticks and supports USB MIDI connectivity, aligning with the ALLSET’s digital focus. However, it lacks the specific BFD sound library integration mentioned for the ALLSET. This kit is a solid choice for beginners wanting a complete, quiet practice setup with included accessories, trading the ALLSET’s specific sound ecosystem for a straightforward mesh pad experience with dual-zone capabilities.

AODSK Quiet Mesh Electronic Drum Set

The AODSK UAED-403 provides 450 sounds, more than the ALLSET Groove’s 210+ sounds. It features mesh pads and includes sticks, offering a complete package for beginners. The kit is black and orange, differing from the ALLSET’s white color option. It supports USB MIDI connectivity, similar to the ALLSET, but lacks wireless features and a display screen. Weighing 39.1 pounds, it is comparable in weight to other electronic kits. You gain a larger sound library but lose the specific BFD integration and double-layer mesh feel of the ALLSET. This kit suits beginners who want a complete mesh setup with extensive sounds, accepting the lack of a display and wireless connectivity for a broader sonic palette.

VEVOR 5-Piece 22-Inch Full Size Adult Drum Set

The VEVOR 5-Piece Acoustic Drum Set is a full-size acoustic kit, contrasting with the ALLSET Groove’s electronic design. It features a 22-inch bass drum and silver finish, weighing 66.1 pounds. This kit offers traditional sound and full-size components, fitting players who have space for a standard arrangement. You get acoustic response but lose all electronic features, including USB audio, mesh pads, and built-in sounds. It includes sticks and targets beginners and adults wanting a traditional setup. This option is for those who prefer acoustic dynamics over electronic versatility, sacrificing the quiet practice capabilities and compact foldability of the ALLSET Groove for a classic drumming experience.
