This list covers 6 options that match your need for quiet practice or specific connectivity. Each product serves a distinct purpose, from beginner kits to professional-grade setups. You can compare sizes, weights, and included accessories to find the right fit.
How alternatives differ from Vvikizy
VEVOR 5-Piece 22 in Full Size Drum Set
The VEVOR 5-Piece Drum Set shifts from digital motion capture to traditional acoustic hardware. It features a 22-inch bass drum and standard acoustic components, weighing 62.8 pounds. This kit lacks the portability and silent operation of the Vvikizy air sticks. You trade wireless mobile connectivity for physical stability and authentic drumming feel. It suits players who prioritize acoustic realism over compact, app-free practice. The full-size design requires significant space and is not suitable for silent environments. Choose this if you want a standard drum kit experience rather than a virtual percussion tool.
LEKATO CPD-1000 Portable Mesh Electronic Drum Set
The LEKATO CPD-1000 provides a compact electronic drum kit with mesh pads and small pedals, weighing just 14 pounds. It offers USB MIDI and MIDI connectivity, differing from the Vvikizy’s direct mobile device connection. This kit is designed for beginners seeking a portable, quiet practice solution with a more traditional drum layout. It gives up the unique air-stick motion capture for physical drum pads. The low-volume cymbals and compact size make it suitable for small spaces. Pick this option if you prefer physical drumming mechanics over virtual motion tracking while maintaining portability.
AROMA TDX-18 4-Pad Mesh Portable Drum Set
The AROMA TDX-18 introduces Bluetooth connectivity, a feature absent in the Vvikizy’s direct mobile connection. It is a 4-pad mesh portable set weighing 37.5 pounds, offering a compact wireless practice solution. This kit targets beginners needing portable Bluetooth drum practice with adjustable components. It provides a physical drum pad experience rather than virtual air drumming. The low-volume cymbals and mesh snare offer a tactile response different from motion capture. Choose this if you want wireless audio transmission and a traditional pad layout instead of an app-free wand system.
Gammon Percussion Full Size 5-Piece Adult Drum Set
The Gammon Percussion 5-Piece Drum Set is a full-size acoustic kit weighing 84.4 pounds, far heavier than the Vvikizy air sticks. It offers a complete traditional setup for adults with ample space. This option lacks portability and silent operation, requiring a dedicated area for setup. It provides physical drumming with standard acoustic components rather than digital sound generation. The large dimensions and weight make it unsuitable for travel or small apartments. Select this if you want a permanent, high-quality acoustic drumming experience and do not need mobile or silent practice capabilities.
AiJoy ADD15 4-Pad Electronic Drum Set
The AiJoy ADD15 4-Pad Electronic Drum Set features a mesh snare and rubber toms, offering a physical interface unlike the Vvikizy’s air sticks. It includes 210 sounds and targets kids and beginners with a portable starter kit. The kit weighs significantly more than the wand system, with dimensions of 31.5 by 47.2 inches. It provides a traditional drumming feel with limited pad count. Choose this if you want a physical drum set for young players or beginners who need tactile feedback instead of virtual motion capture.
Yamaha DD75 Portable Digital Drums
The Yamaha DD75 Portable Digital Drums is a drum module weighing 9 pounds, offering extensive sound variety with 570 voices. It includes pedals, providing a more complete practice setup than the Vvikizy air sticks. This unit prioritizes sound variety and transportability over acoustic feel. It lacks the motion capture technology of the air sticks, focusing instead on digital sound generation and pedal operation. The compact size makes it easy to transport. Pick this if you want a dedicated digital drum module with extensive voices and included pedals rather than a motion-based wand system.
